Flexjet's new Malta Operations Centre, located in the heart of Sliema, complements its existing European headquarters in London's Mayfair; Tactical Control Center in St. Albans, England; and its aircraft maintenance facility is based in Milan, Italy.

The new AOC gives Flexjet greater operational reach as it expands its offering to a wider range of European owners and premium program customers.

The fractional fleet operator has chosen the Embraer Legacy 500 as the first aircraft to operate under the new registry. The mid-sized jet offers a range of up to 5,793 km, or around six hours of flight time, and is part of the company's prestigious and growing fleet in Europe.

Flexjet also operates the Embraer Praetor 600 super-midsize jet, giving its European owners greater freedom with the ability to fly directly to the US East Coast and the Middle East.

Marine Eugène, Flexjet Managing Director Europe, said: "Flexjet owners fly an increasing range of routes inside and outside Europe and our AOC Malta gives us more reach and additional operational flexibility. We enjoy working closely with the Civil Aviation Directorate of Transport Malta, which our share. committed to the highest standards of safety and compliance. I am also pleased to establish our new regional operational center in the professional Malta aviation community, which will undoubtedly prove to be an important asset as we continue to grow Flexjet throughout Europe. Our first 9H registration for Flexjet is an important milestone and one that we plan to build on in the coming months.
